Becky Laird, a native and resident of Folsom, graduated from Covington High School and Southeastern Louisiana University where she earned a BA in Elementary Education. After working as a Graphic Artist she began her teaching career which has spanned 25 years. Becky started teaching at Covington Elementary School where she served as a classroom teacher and technology facilitator. She trained many instructional staff members on how to use and integrate technology in the classroom. In 2009, she joined the faculty of Kehoe-France as the computer teacher and now serves as the school’s Director of Technology and STEM teacher. She enjoys sharing her passion for technology with her students and professional colleagues. Becky is also moderator for the Kehoe-France Student Council which sponsors numerous events throughout the year. She loves spending time with family and friends, especially her son, Clayton.
